Manod View is a charming stone holiday cottage, which underwent extensive renovation about 5 years and offers wonderful, spacious and light accommodation which is extenuated by the high ceilings and light neutral décor throughout. There is a good sized lounge with gas fired ‘living flame’ coal effect fire with period style surround and slate hearth, French doors lead through to the separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen which ismodern in styling, The modern spacious bathroom has a double ended bath for those romantics amongst us!! and the main bedroom a King-size bed. Guests will not be disappointed with the high standard and attention to detail taken to make this lovely house a real home from home
The cottage stands amongst some dramatic scenery and enjoys pleasant outlooks at the front encompassing craggy hillside, mountainous scenery and a waterfall. The old slate mill, Melin Pant yr Ynn is only a short walk away and is the earliest surviving slate mill in Blaenau Ffestiniog.Since its closure the mill has been converted into a private house, the home of Falcon Hildred, a renowned local artist.Nowadays the mill, which is grade 2 listed, is open to the public and contains an interesting collection of industrial artefacts and an exhibition of water colour drawings recording the historic town, quarries and dramatic landscape of Blaenau Ffestiniog. The waterwheel can also be seen working, except in very dry conditions.
There are some fantastic walks, lakes & waterfalls from the cottage, and the area is great for fishing, golfing and mountain biking. The slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is approximately 1/2 a mile away and offers an array of eating establishments, pubs, shops, chemist, a garage & leisure centre/swimming pool. Blaenau Ffestiniog is also the home to the World Famous Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Steam railway which links to the harbour town of Porthmadog.

Liquid soaps by washbasins, toilet roll and bin bags. We also provide a small supply of Tea, Coffee & Sugar and a selection of Herbal & Fruit Teas. There is also a condiment set of Salt, Pepper & Vinegar, and a small selection of assorted herbs.
